Destiny Brady is an artist and curator whose work centers land as a site of memory.
Across photographs, installations, and facilitated mapping sessions, she studies how histories persist in place and how people come to recognize themselves in relation to what preceded them. Her projects often unfold collaboratively, generating archives, narratives, and spatial records authored with participants.
She is the founder of Ori House, a creative practice rooted in gathering, storytelling, and the cultivation of meaningful connections. Inspired by the Yoruba concept of ori, the inner self, consciousness, and personal destiny, Ori House explores how we honor ourselves and one another through art, food, memory, and shared experiences. Through curated gatherings, cultural programming, and creative projects, Ori House creates spaces for reflection, celebration, and collective care.
Her work takes the form of exhibitions, workshops, and long-term research projects.
